The UAE has inaugurated one of the world’s largest ultra-fast EV charging hubs, opened by ADNOC Distribution at Saih Shuaib on the E11 highway. The megahub features 60 high-speed chargers delivering 0–80% charge in about 20 minutes. It anchors ADNOC’s plan to electrify UAE highways with 20 hubs by 2027, supporting long-distance EV travel, smart mobility, and national targets for 50% electric vehicles by 2050.
