India’s wind energy sector shows strong growth as of February 2026, with an installed capacity of 55,132.50 MW and monitored capacity of 54,416.97 MW. Wind power generation reached 5,661.07 MU in February 2026, up 23.27% from 4,592.48 MU in February 2025. Cumulative generation from April 2025 to February 2026 stood at 101,248.
