Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd will invest ₹6,675 crore to build a greenfield 10 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Approved by the SIPB, the project will be India’s largest of its kind and developed on 200 acres at the IFFCO Kisan SEZ. It will support domestic solar manufacturing, create about 1,000 direct jobs, and run on a 200 MW captive green power plant, strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s role as a solar hub.
