Larsen and Toubro’s green energy arm, L&T Energy GreenTech, has signed a long-term agreement with Japan's ITOCHU Corporation to supply 300,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. The ammonia will be produced at a planned facility in Gujarat and used to decarbonise shipping. The deal supports global green fuel supply chains and aligns with India’s ambition to scale green hydrogen and derivative production for export and energy transition goals.
