Toyota has begun production at its $13.9 billion North Carolina battery plant, supporting expanded hybrid manufacturing and reaffirming $10 billion in additional U.S. investment over five years. The facility will supply batteries for hybrid Camry, Corolla Cross, RAV4, and a future three-row EV, serving plants in Kentucky and Alabama.
