Taiwanese contract manufacturer, Foxconn is in talks with TN government to develop a 200 acre BESS unit in Tamil Nadu, with the proceedings at final stages. The offered land is near Manalur in Tiruvallur district, 50 km north of Chennai. The company is targeting sectors like EVs, energy and digital health.
