Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation (TNPDCL) received Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) approval to procure 600 MW solar power with battery storage for 25 years at Rs 3.12 per unit from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). A trading margin of Rs 0.07 per unit will be paid to SECI over the discovered tariff.
