The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) has approved 20-year contracts for 129 MW of Battery Storage with Key Capture Energy LLC. The Projects include a 79 MW facility in Hauppauge & a 50 MW System in Shoreham, both to improve grid reliability. Set for completion by 2028, they require local approvals.
