The US Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office has committed $584.5 million to Convergent Energy and Power for Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects in Puerto Rico. The plan includes a 100 MW Solar System with a 55MW/55MWh Battery, along with three standalone BESS systems. The projects aim to help Puerto Rico achieve 100% clean energy by 2050.
