Tata Power has commissioned the second element of its Jalpura-Khurja transmission project in Uttar Pradesh via wholly owned TP Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission Ltd. The asset includes a 400 kV double-circuit line of 162 CKM (two circuits of ∼81 km each) connecting Khurja, a strategic power node in Western UP, to Jalpura, and a 400/220 kV GIS substation at Jalpura with 1,000 MVA capacity.
