KKR-backed Serentica Renewables is acquiring Statkraft’s India solar business for $220–250 million, gaining a 1.5 GW solar portfolio. Serentica outbid Blackstone to secure the deal, which includes projects in Rajasthan. Statkraft, shifting focus to Europe, is exiting India and has also sold other assets.
