Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) plans to replace aging wind turbines with hybrid wind-solar power plants under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The project will decommission 17 MW of inefficient turbines and establish a 22 MW wind farm and an 18 MW solar plant. This hybrid approach ensures stable energy output, cost savings, and sustainability.
