Trina Storage, the energy storage unit of China's Trinasolar, has signed an MoU with Japanese developer AMP-lify to supply approximately 1 GWh of grid-connected BESS equipment in Japan. Under the pact, Trina will supply its Elementa 3 line — offering up to 6.25 MWh per container using 587 Ah cells, plus a smaller Flex variant at 1.
