Austria has allocated €275 million to accelerate national hydrogen development, supporting four new projects as part of a €820 million investment plan for hydrogen production, storage, and infrastructure between 2024–2026. Managed by Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH, the initiative aims to make Austria a regional hydrogen hub and integrate it into the European grid by 2026.
