The Syrian government has signed an agreement with Dubai-based Marv Energy to develop a 700-MW grid-connected wind farm across multiple sites. The project will install 140 locally manufactured turbines produced at the company’s Homs factory and connect them to Syria’s national grid to ease electricity shortages.
