Swift Solar has acquired Meyer Burger’s core manufacturing assets and full IP portfolio, including heterojunction (HJT) solar cell technology. The US-based company plans a GW-scale HJT factory, later integrating perovskite layers for tandem solar cells, aiming to exceed 30% efficiency.
