The Swedish government has approved the 1400 MW Poseidon Offshore Wind Farm in southern Skagerrak, set to generate up to 5.5 TWh annually. Developed by Vattenfall and Zephyr Vind, it may feature floating turbines, minimizing environmental impact. The project, expected by 2034, aims to boost fossil-free electricity, supporting business in Western Sweden and enhancing grid stability.
