Statera Energy has secured £395 million in financing for the Thurrock Flexible Generation project, which includes a 300MW/600MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and a 450MW flexible generation development. The project, supported by six major banks, will be the UK’s largest operational BESS once complete, aiding the country's transition to a renewable energy grid.
