Sungrow Hydrogen has secured a deal to supply around 96MW of alkaline electrolysers for a $680 million hydrogen-based e-methanol project in Inner Mongolia, China. The project, led by China Coal Ordos Energy Chemical, aims to produce 100,000 tonnes of e-methanol annually by combining green hydrogen and carbo dioxide captured from a coal-powered chemical plant.
