Squadron Energy, supported by Andrew Forrest, raised AUD 1 billion debt for its 1.1 GW Clarke Creek wind project in Queensland. The two-stage farm includes the 450-MW Stage 1, already operational with 100 Goldwind turbines, supplying over 75% of power under a 15-year PPA with Stanwell Corp. Stage 2 will add 88 turbines totaling 704 MW.
