Edison will launch over 500 MW of new wind and solar projects in Italy in 2026, backed by €600mn investment. The developments include 300 MW onshore wind and 200 MW photovoltaic capacity across Piedmont, Abruzzo, Campania, Apulia, and Sicily, involving 1,000 workers and 200 partners. Supported by European Investment Bank financing, Edison aims to double its green capacity, complementing hydropower storage for grid flexibility, building on 200 MW completed in 2025.
