Unlike US and Canada who have imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs, EU has taken a mid way with tariff range between 7.8% to 35.3%, since Europe doesn’t wish to hamper its own EV transition. However, most of the EU opposed the tariffs, including Spain and others claim that Spain can serve as an connector country, giving indirect access of European market to Chinese.
