South Korea has launched tenders for nearly 2 GW of Wind Projects: 1 GW for fixed-bottom Offshore, 500 MW for Floating Offshore, and 300 MW for Onshore Wind. Project deadlines vary; for example, Offshore Projects over 300 MW have a 78-month implementation period. The Ministry of Trade plans to increase competitive bidding, with 7-8 GW of Offshore tenders expected from late 2024 to mid-2026.
