South Korea has launched its second offshore wind auction for 2026 offering around 2.2 GW, taking total annual auction volume to nearly 4 GW. Per GWEC, tender includes 1.7 GW fixed-bottom (1.4 GW general track, 300 MW public-led) and 500 MW floating. This follows first-half auction of 1.8 GW that drew 3.
