Bondada Engineering Ltd (BEL) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Bondada Hindupur BESS Project Pvt Ltd (BHBPL), as a special purpose vehicle to develop a 225 MW/450 MWh battery energy storage system in Andhra Pradesh. The project was awarded by AP Transco on a build-own-operate basis. BHBPL will handle financing, procurement, construction, commissioning, ownership, operation and maintenance.
