SJVN has tendered a 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage (BESS) project at Panipat thermal power station, Haryana, with bids due January 6, 2026. The project covers BESS setup, charging/discharging on demand, transmission construction, land allocation, and 12-year operation and maintenance.
