The Sunman Group, founded by solar pioneer Zhengrong Shi, will build Australia’s largest solar module manufacturing plant in Hunter Valley, backed by AUD 171 million from federal and NSW governments. The Hunter Valley Solar Foundry will initially produce 300 MW of panels annually, scaling to 500 MW, including lightweight eArc modules and glass panels.
