Sinopec has received official approval for a 400km green hydrogen pipeline in China, set to transport 100,000 tonnes of wind-powered hydrogen annually from Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, to its Yanshan petrochemical plant in Beijing. The pipeline, part of a national demonstration project, will reduce hydrogen transport costs significantly.
