AFC Energy and Industrial Chemicals Group Ltd (ICL) have launched a 50:50 joint venture to produce hydrogen from ammonia using AFC’s cracking technology. The venture aims to supply 400kg of hydrogen daily by early 2026, targeting cost-effective, subsidy-free hydrogen. ICL will handle ammonia logistics, while AFC provides technology and pilot assets by Q4 2025.
