The Ministry of Heavy Industries has extended the ₹10,900 crore PM E-DRIVE scheme until March 31, 2028, though subsidies for electric two- and three-wheelers will end by March 2026. Launched in October 2024, the scheme supports EV adoption through demand incentives, public charging infrastructure, and testing facilities.
