Sineng Electric and Trina Storage achieved a milestone with Egypt’s first Grid-Connected 150MW/300MWh utility-scale battery storage at Abydos, part of a 500MW solar park. This system, designed for Egypt’s 220kV grid, features 36 sets of 5MW PCS units paired with Trina’s Elementa 2 solution, ensuring high efficiency and reliability in extreme conditions.
