Repsol approved a €300m project to build a 100MW renewable hydrogen electrolyser at Cartagena, Spain, in partnership with Enagas Renovable. Scheduled to start operations in 2029, it will produce 15,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually, reducing CO2 emissions by 167,000 tonnes. The European Commission supports it as a strategic project, with €155m funding.
