Energy company VPI will invest up to €450m ($496m) in developing 500MW of Battery Storage in Germany over the next three to five years. This initiative supports Germany's 2030 goal of 80% Renewable Electricity. VPI plans ten projects, mainly in the wind-rich north-east, to help balance supply and demand amid market volatility.
