Scania launched Scania Industrial Batteries after acquiring Northvolt Systems Industrial, expanding into off-road and industrial battery systems. The acquisition includes a production facility, R&D center, and 260 employees. The new division offers battery systems from 21 to 624 kWh for construction and off-road vehicles, either standalone or integrated in electric powertrains.
