In March, China's adoption of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for electric vehicles surged 97% year-on-year, making up 82.3% of total vehicle deployment. LFP usage reached 46.6 GWh, while traditional ternary batteries saw an 11.6% decline. Overall, power battery installations rose 61.8%, with LFP dominating new EVs.
