Saft, a TotalEnergies subsidiary, secured a contract to deliver a 100 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for Genesis Energy at Huntly Power Station, New Zealand. This project supports Genesis's Huntly Portfolio, enhancing flexibility and reliability in the energy mix. Scheduled for completion in Q3 2026, it will utilize Saft's Intensium lithium-ion technology.
