Stanwell Corp is closing a deal for 436.5 MW Tarong West Wind Farm project from RES in the north eastern Aussie state. The project will be made up of 97 turbines and will receive a state funding of $ 538 m. It is expected to generate electricity equivalent to consumption of 230,000 homes. Stanwell has set a goal of achieving 9 GW to 10 GW of large-scale wind and solar capacity by 2035.
