Saft, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, will provide Genesis Energy in New Zealand with a 100MW/200MWh battery energy storage system at Huntly Power Station, the country’s largest electricity generation site. The system, featuring 70 lithium iron phosphate containers, is expected online by Q3 2026. This marks Saft’s third utility-scale project in New Zealand.
