Stadtwerke München (SWM) has invested in a green hydrogen hub project in Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein region in partnership with Infener AG. The planned Neumünster hub will produce up to 5,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually using surplus renewable electricity. The project aims to convert curtailed wind and solar power into hydrogen for local industry and transport, supporting grid stability and decarbonisation.
