Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RUVNL) has invited bids to set up 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a 500 MW/1,000 MWh greenshoe option. The project, eligible for viability gap funding (VGF), requires developers to meet financial and technical criteria. Bids are due by December 16, 2024.
