Ørsted has generated its first power from its 920 MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 Offshore Wind farms in Taiwan, five months after Offshore construction began. Located 35–60 km off Changhua County, these are part of the Greater Changhua complex, which will total 1.82 GW when fully completed. The two projects will feature 66 Siemens Gamesa 14 MW turbines and begin grid exports in 2026 under a 20-year CPPA with TSMC.
