POWERGRID Invites Bids for 500 MW/1000 MWh BESS Long-Term Agreement

POWERGRID has invited bids for a Long Term Agreement (LTA) for the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 500 MW/1000 MWh BESS across India under a Category-A (2-hour BESS) framework. Issued on 16 July 2026, the tender targets 1 GWh capacity with LTA validity of 12 months. The two-stage domestic competitive bidding process includes technical qualification, clarification meetings, and price bids.
