Rideence Africa Limited has established Kenya's inaugural dedicated electric vehicle (EV) assembly line at the Associated Vehicle Assemblers (AVA) plant in Mombasa, supported by a KSh 320 million investment. The company intends to assemble 152 EVs by late February 2026, creating over 3,000 jobs and potentially reducing vehicle prices by up to 25% through local manufacturing tax incentives
