Return has reached financial close for its 200MW/800MWh Sirius BESS project in Winschoten, Groningen, Netherlands, securing a long-term fixed-price toll agreement with Vattenfall. The 4-hour battery system requires €180 million investment, part of a €400 million ($463M) financing package from ING, NatWest, Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO and Rabobank.
