Austrian refiner OMV secured €123m national funding for its 140MW green hydrogen plant in Bruck an der Leitha. The project, using Siemens Energy PEM electrolysers, will produce 23,000 tonnes of green hydrogen, replacing grey hydrogen at OMV’s Schwechat refinery. UAE’s Masdar acquired a 49% stake, forming a joint venture.
