Gurugram-based ReNew Energy Global has signed a long-term agreement with Google to develop a 150 MW solar project in Rajasthan, scheduled for commissioning in 2026. The project will generate about 425,000 MWh of clean power annually, expanding ReNew’s C&I portfolio to 2.7 GW. Google will procure energy attributes, improving project bankability and supporting its emissions goals, highlighting growing corporate-led clean energy adoption in India’s energy transition.
