Chennai-based Refex Group's new subsidiary, Venwind Refex Power Ltd, plans to invest ₹800 crore to establish manufacturing facilities for 5.3 MW Wind Turbines. The company has signed a licensing agreement with Vensys Energy AG, a German Wind Turbine technology leader. Refex Industries, involved in diverse sectors such as Renewable Energy, pharma, and green mobility, is expanding into Wind Turbine production under the leadership of industry veteran Madhusudan Khemka, with the goal of pursuing growth through organic expansion and acquisitions.
