The Geo Logical Survey of India has found the lithium reserves in Rajasthan's Degana (Nagaur). According to the (GSI) and mining officials, lithium reserves found in Rajasthan contain more than 5 million tonnes of lithium. This region allegedly has enough lithium to satisfy 80% of India's entire demand for lithium and the dependency on China's lithium would be reduced to 90%.
