Amara Raja Batteries Ltd. (ARBL) is ready to set up its first giga factory to produce 16GWh of Li cells and a 5GWh Battery Packs capacity plant in Mahbubnagar, Telangana. In this project, ARBL is investing over INR 9.5K crore to set up R&D and greenfield manufacturing and will create employment for 4500 people by the end of 2033.
