The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has approved a ₹6,478.41 crore Capital Investment Plan for FY 2026-27, allocating ₹848.79 crore for power generation, ₹1,175.48 crore for transmission, and ₹1,669 crore for distribution. Key allocations include ₹100 crore for smart meters, ₹170 crore for battery energy storage systems, ₹52 crore for EV charging stations, and ₹17 crore for pumped storage project reports.
